It is me Quein again a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. Wow!!! Ka mau te wehi! It looks amazing!! I love the creativity and ingenuity you displayed here by creating a wooden raft. I love the flag that you placed on it and it is really cool to see that it floats so well on the water. Finally thank you for sharing your amazing mahi with me and your fellow bloggers.
I really enjoy boats and taking the ferries across the ocean, however i never been on a wooden raft before. What advice would you give to your fellow bloggers who would like to give building a wooden raft a go?
Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog post!!!
Hi Quein for my fellow blogger that please get the stick off the ground please don't break them of the trees and to put it all together you need a hot glue gun.
Kia Ora Amelia, I love your boats - the stick boat is my favourite. That style of boat is called a raft and used all over the world to carry heavy things using rivers. Do you think your raft could carry any weight on it? Nanogirl
Kia ora Amelia!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Chris here again, from the Summer Learning Journey.
Pai mahi on completing the boat building task! The stick and paper one is interesting, what is it bound together with? Did you enjoy the task?
Hope you’re enjoying your summer! Looking forward to seeing what you post next!
Ngā mihi,
Chris

DeleteWow, that's quite the tool. Glad you enjoyed it!
